If you have read my blog a few times, you know that I believe Donald Trump is as unfit for the presidency as any could ever be. Blogger-friend Gronda has written a great post with documented evidence by a licensed and well-respected psychiatrist that supports my opinion. I have long called for Congress to invoke the 25th Amendment and declare Trump unfit, and there is actually such a bill being considered in the House. However, its success is highly unlikely. Still … it is important that we all understand just HOW unfit the ‘man’ is to be in the highest office in the land. Please take a few minutes to read Gronda’s post … it is well worth the read. Thank you, Gronda!
Prudence L. Gourguechon, MD.
On the evening of July 5, 2017, I was watching the MSNBC’s TV host, Lawrence O’Donnell interviewing a psychiatrist from Chicago, where the guest, Dr. Gouurguechon was explaining how the Army has an 100 year old field manual which includes an updated on section on how to evaluate if a candidate is unfit for leadership positions and if a leader is no longer able to continue in such a role.
The republican President Donald Trump, as the military’s Commander-In-Chief would fail this objective criteria. bigly. And this is who, the Republican Party has assisted to become our 45th President of the USA and, for political expediency reasons, the majority of republican legislators continue to enable and cover for his numerous missteps.
And this is what “we the people” are dealing with as we observe the president meeting with leaders from around the world and dealing with…

Very disturbing to read that our government has little will to press the case for the 25th Amendment in spite of the Army Manual criteria shown here. If a family member of mine exhibited the emotionally disturbing behavior of our President, I would recommend they be “Baker Acted” . In my role as a teacher in the past, such antics would require me to recommend him for special education classes.

Good points! There is obviously something so wrong … a narcissist, for certain, but there’s more to it than that. I wonder if the man has ever had a genuine thought, has ever cared for another human or even animal? I think not. But yes, it will take earth-moving machinery to get the republicans in Congress to act against him … at least for the moment.

I read Gronda’s post on her own site.
I wonder if the long term strategy amongst the Court at the Whitehouse is to gradually side-line him, so he’s left to make off-the-wall announcements which get watered down or completely altered; until he is naught but an emperor in name only?
Won’t be the first time it’s happened. After all when you read histories ‘power’ is a bit of an illusion no one person or group of people can be completely in control. ‘Things’ will happen and other folk won’t read the script. ‘Butterfly Effect’ y’see. 😉

Hmmmm …. something to think about, for sure! I think there are a few too devious, underhanded things going on in the White House, though I do not know how many are with Trump’s knowledge and approval, nor how many are behind his back. The one who frightens me the most is Bannon. That man has an agenda and he is devious and intelligent enough to … maybe … accomplish what he set out to do. I must ponder on this a bit more.

Watch out for the small and seemingly insignificant details. Like in the old days of the Cold War when ‘Kremlin Watchers’ used to pay great detail to who stood where during the May Day parade.

Quite so, and one must wonder if that is why they have banned cameras and recording devices from press briefings?

Yes, Gronda does good work! I don’t know how, but she writes 4-5 posts a day, when I struggle to do 2! And yes, I believe the GOP in both chambers of Congress are sheeples, boot-lickers, butt-kissers … but they forget whose vote they will need in about 16 months! I hope enough people wake up and remind them!
Hugs!!!!!!

It seems that could be levelled at most POTUS’s. Mr. Johnson, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, the Bush family and on. They are all puppets of the bankers. Cheers Jamie

What a depressing thought. I think to an extent you are right, but I think … at least I like to think … that there are exceptions. FDR, for example … he was not perfect, and made some serious mistakes, such as Japanese internment, turning away Jewish refugees … but overall I think he was dedicated to trying to do the right thing. LBJ. Obama. Just my thoughts … I have to believe that it is possible for a president to be of good conscience, to try to do the right thing. Otherwise … why even bother?
Cheers, Jamie … I’m glad we connected … you always make me think!

The first thing LBJ did returning to Washington from Dallas, was restore the power of the Federal Reserve Bank. One that JFK was trying to eliminate … hmmm? Cheers Jamie
