  1. Dear Jill,

You know that I love cartoons as many say a lot more than what we can say with a lot of words. You picked out some really good ones. My favorite is also the John McCain one. Boy do I miss him on the Congress floor.

  2. Jill, now that he is back home the man who gaslights people with misinformation and lies is on his fake news kick again. He sees what is happening to Manafort and Cohen, plus he is continuing to blame Justin Trudeau for his own errors. Sadly, his gaslighting works with his base and scares his sycophants Republicans into supporting him no matter what. And, yes he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and his supporters are blind enough to support him. Keith

    • Yes, I’ve been trying to ignore his ranting tweets, for they just make me angrier and even more depressed. I was reading one commentary earlier this evening that predicts he will attempt to issue a ‘pre-emptive pardon’ to Cohen. Your thoughts? Wouldn’t that serve as an admission of guilt? But, as you said, his supporters likely wouldn’t care.

      • Jill, the author and historian Jon Meecham said today on NPR, the President has had numerous times to put this Russian thing to bed, if he were innocent. Each time, he has made it worse. Meecham went on to say the obvious ensuing statement. If he is innocent, he has conducted political malfeasance with his actions. What Trump cannot do is shut up. And, now he has Rudy who has the same problem. Keith

        • You remember that old saying, “If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it probably IS a duck”? Well it seems to me that nearly every time Trump opens his mouth he sounds guilty, and he sure as heck acts guilty. Why on earth would a person even think about pardoning himself if he had no reason to fear the verdict? He and Rudy deserve each other!!!

  3. Excellent! Might as well laugh. I couldn’t get over him asking the G6 to ask Russia back into the group. I also love how Trudeau is the bad guy when it was he who made negative comments all week leading up to the conference. I’ve not read “The Art of the Deal” but I think I’m getting it. Sure enough, its smoke and mirrors.
