The day Donald Trump died

I stumbled across this post a few days ago, asked & received permission to share, and so I am sharing this one with you this afternoon. It is short, but the sardonic humour is, I think, excellent. Thank you, nkd, for permission to share!

Thoughts, Songs, Words

One day in the future, Donald Trump died, as people tend to do sooner or later.

His body was discovered in the master bedroom of the presidential palace at 6:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) by a White House aide, who was alerted by Twitter that the late president had not logged on to his account by 3:30 a.m., which had been customary for him to do so.

It was reported by anonymous sources that at the time of his death, the 45th president of the United States was still wearing his trademark red MAGA hat, along with his favorite white robe.

It’s speculated that the president may have fallen when he tripped over a large United States Constitution that he had often complained was in his way.

Foul play is not suspected.  However, preliminary toxicology reports revealed extremely large doses of misogyny and narcissism present in his system, coupled with abnormally…

  1. Aw, I thought he deserved a much longer eulogy. Something like”The dishonorable Donald J. Trump passed away at 6:66 this morning. All hail Dump Truck Donny. America is finally great again!”

(That did not come from me.)

  2. It is a stormy day here, thunder and lightening abound. I’ll tempt Fate and risk being struck by lightening…I could only hope for this myth to become a reality. The cause of death is payback, while the toxicology report findings are exactly as I would expect them to be. There appears to be a definite lack of tear tracks on those faces. America would be great again, except for the ominous shadow lurking and drooling graveside…Pence! Thank-you for sharing the wit of nkd!

      • I broke one of my own rules, passing it through my mouth (in this case, fingers) before my brain. No excuses for such behavior at my age. I even told my eldest daughter that I should have censored myself before hitting post comment. Or, at the least, softened it a bit afterward with a less bombastic comment…shoulda, coulda, woulda, but didn’t! She told me : “Too late, it is already out there in the universe.” Bad Karma indeed…sigh!

          • You are too kind! But eldest daughter is correct, “IT” is already out there! It was uncharitable of me to only hope, even just a wee bit, for the myth to become a reality. Miscreants deserves the right to draw breath too. I admit that Trump does bring out the worst in me, but one must draw the line between acceptable and unacceptable and I crossed that line. I truly enjoy satire and nkd’s Trump death notice is brilliant. I loved it!

            • Sweet Ellen … you are only human. “These are the times that try men’s souls” – Thomas Paine. Don’t worry about it … you weren’t uncharitable, but only honest and expressing the opinion of about 60% of the nation!
