President And GOP Busy At Work Gas lighting Public With Propaganda/ Fake News Campaign

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting sick of the lies and bullying coming from the White House and the republican camp in general. It is old, tiresome and not even a little bit funny. Friend Gronda has written an excellent post de-bunking all of Trump’s and his minion’s claims about the women and democrats engaging in ‘mob rule’ … please take a few moments to read and absorb how we are being fed lies, lies, lies, and more lies by the bully at the helm of this nation. Many thanks to you, Gronda!

Gronda Morin

Dear Media and fellow Non Trumpian voters, please discount/ pay no attention to the republican President Donald Trump’s claims about the women protesting the confirmation of the SCOTUS nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh during the first week of October 2018, as the equivalent of mob rule. At his rallies and elsewhere, he has been describing these women as being out of control, creating conditions for violence. This contrived outrage is in the same category of all his other lies, with no basis in fact and reality, but designed solely to motivate his base to action.

In short, this is his way of grabbing added media attention, as even FOX TV is no longer televising his campaign rallies because the ratings for these events have dipped. But he never gives up. For example, on the 11th of October 2018, Kanye West, the rapper, with his mental illness in full display, was trotted out…

  1. Great summation of the reality of the situation. Gronda’s last sentence eclipses sanity, because Republicans believe what ever they want to believe, and that is usually within the realms of lies, deception and subterfuge.

  2. Thank-you for re-blogging this informative post. I had read it on Gronda’s blog this morning, but it is well worth reading again. I had mentioned to you some time ago that I am unable to comment on her blog, though the reason eludes me at the moment. May I just take a moment, really, just a moment of your time to say…the both of you put so much time and effort into these posts, and I am grateful. Thank-you both!!

    • I just finished reading Gronda’s post from last evening, ‘Extra, Extra : Guess…’ and decided to return to send a message to Gronda. Just as I never miss any of Jill’s posts, nor do I ever miss any of yours. I realized the reason that I can not comment on your blog is due to not having a Word Press account or Twitter or whatever else is required to do so. That makes me a silent follower. All things considered, that may well be a blessing for you…right Jill?! Thank-you for all that you do!

      • I passed your message on to Gronda! I had not read that post yet and it made me so mad I was shaking as I commented. Grrrrrrrrr … I want to go to one of his damn rallies wearing my shirt that says “Don’t Blame Me, I Voted For Hillary” and throw rotten tomatoes! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    • I shared your comment with Gronda and she is not clear on why you cannot comment on her posts, but she thanks you for your comment and is going to try to figure it out and fix the problem. I suspect that she has something ticked in her settings to only allow comments from WordPress users. I’ll keep you posted, and meanwhile I’m happy to pass along your comments. And thank YOU! Words of appreciation like yours are what keeps us doing what we do … makes it all worth the effort.

      • At the risk of being repetitious, a forgivable offense for the aged, I would like to take another moment, or two, of your time to share a few thoughts that often bounce about my brain as I’m reading your posts. Total aside…that sentence is poorly constructed, but unimportant in the long run. As I was saying, before I rudely interrupted myself, it never ceases to amaze me how much time and effort is expended to write these posts. The act of choosing a subject amongst the endless possibilities, the research alone must take a good deal of time, then putting the finds together into a coherent post (unlike the sentence above), editing, and countless other details of which I know nothing about. Oh, bother, another poorly constructed sentence…Grammarly would be worn out correcting me. Now, where was I, maybe I was about to wind this up. I am in awe of your dedication to the craft of blogging and the posts that you produce…never mind that even after posting, your work is not complete until you respond to the comments. Long hours, no sleep and low pay/no pay are not enticing prospects to many. Yet, you show up every day with 3 or 4 different posts that are relevant and entertaining. And…you tolerate the ramblings of my propensity for loquacity with grace and style. THANK-YOU! Another total aside…have you ever or never wondered why I always type that word in the manner that I do?

        • Dearest Ellen … have I told you lately that I love you? You are such a great cheerleader section, so appreciative, and you make my mouth turn up at the corners, bring a glimmer to my eye, and put a warm feeling in my heart. Your kind words, your propensity for loquacity, are my reward at the end of a long day. I was thinking this evening that I would love for you and I to spend an evening together … it would be non-stop chatter and I would be in sheer bliss. Thank you, my dear friend, for your support, your kind words, and for reading and commenting on my posts every day. It means more than you can ever know and makes it all worth doing.

I mentioned in another post, but will also mention it here … Gronda has changed her settings and you should now be able to leave comments, though I think you may have to sign in to do so. Thanks again, on behalf of both myself and Gronda … you are, indeed, a Gem!

  3. Nothing new with them. Now they’ve been chanting “lock her up for Senator Feinstein. I think what gets to me the most is it seeing what nasty, hateful people they can be in the name of God and family values. Makes me sick to my stomach because faith and spirituality are real for me and to see these values portrayed this way by pompous a$# individuals, it’s just sick. No other words. Talk about “mob” mentality. I guess it takes one to know one. And while we were focused on the acts in the big ring in the middle, children continue to be treated like animals taught that it’s their parents fault for their predicaments, lower courts are being filled by conservative religious extremist judges, protections for the environment have been rolled back.. I don’t need to continue, I feel like I’m preaching to the choir. Thanks for keeping us “woke.”

    • I am in full agreement with you. The hypocrisy of the religious right, the evangelicals, is appalling … and either they are blind to their own contradictions, or think the rest of us are too stupid to see it. I see Trump is considering re-implementing his policy of separating children at the border … I thought he learned a lesson about that the first time! This is beginning to feel like Groundhog Day!
