FOX NEWS reporter William LaJeunesse who is an embedded in the midst of the refugee caravan is disputing the republican President Donald J. Trump’s claims that this caravan of refugees fleeing the violence in Honduras by heading towards the US -Mexican border via Guatemala are comprised of ‘bad peoples.’
On October 23, 2018, David Edwards of Raw Story penned the following report, “Fox News embedded reporter burns Trump on caravan criminals: ‘Most are driven by poverty and a better life.”

I have been humming and singing a Peter, Paul and Mary song that has been on my mind for days, “No East Walk to Freedom” and it simply would not be ignored. After pulling out the 1986 eponymous album this afternoon, I’ve been listening, humming and singing. The song had come to mind as I was first reading about this refugee caravan. I was trying to imagine the fear and hope that they must be feeling as they walk toward the border. Their fear should be removed and their hope fulfilled. More likely, their fears will become their reality and their hope will be crushed. It incenses me that the desperation of these human beings is being used to gain political advantage…with blatant lies! The truth will not be heard or believed by the diehard Trumpers. “There are three classes of people : those who see, those who see when they are shown, those who do not see.” – Leonardo da Vinci. Thank-you Gronda and Jill!!

I fear you are right, that the hopes of these poor people will turn into their worst nightmare. No longer do the words, “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,” apply to this nation. 😥
