Thanks, Roger! ‘Tis true what you say, but of course only if the authoritarians are benevolent which, we can see from the same history, is rarely the case.

Too true … but sometimes spinning heads prevail. I’ve heard a few trumpeters say they wouldn’t mind if he became a dictator, for he is so … cough, gag, splutter … smart. 🤢

Yeah, I’m not surprised….
Never underestimate the following Jill:
1. Denial.
2. Loathing of the opposition.
3. Willingness to infuriate the opposition (this is used by the more astute).
Each of these will give rise to the most outrageous of statements.
Best response:
Say ‘Uh-uh/Mmm-mm’ and walk off….
OR if you want to shake their boots add…
‘See you in Hell then,’ and walk off.😉

That’s part of the strategy, certainly here. Reduce it to cheap sound bites and false claims. Sadly it worked here.

More likely his new book will be titled something along the lines of “How I Was the Best President in the History of the United States”.
