Our friend Brosephus has hit the nail on the head when he says Trump is a criminal and should go to prison. Listen to this short clip from Trump’s call to bribe and/or blackmail Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger yesterday. What he did was a crime, a felony. He should be hauled out of the White House today and taken to jail to await trial. Listen to the clip … I think you’ll agree. Thank you, Brosephus, for posting this and for allowing me to share it with my readers.
Leave it to the Washington Post to break the news on Watergate 2: Electric Boogaloo.
Trump dismissed their arguments.
“The people of Georgia are angry, the people in the country are angry,” he said. “And there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated.”
Raffensperger responded: “Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong.”
At another point, Trump said: “So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.”
So, at what point do we honestly admit that Trump is a criminal and deserves to go to prison?…

Outrageous! Continually outrageous.

Indeed it is, and what’s equally outrageous is the people who still support him. Sigh.

I watched this playing out on Twitter today. ‘Incredulous’ doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt!

I know … it is the most unconscionable and illegal thing he has done. There may be a silver lining, though, for it has wakened some people to just what an evil ‘man’ he is. Still, with 16 days yet to go, I genuinely fear what else he will attempt during that time.

I just hope he ends up in prison, where he so clearly deserves to be. Sadly, there are many millions over there who believe his rubbish.

I would love nothing better, but … he won’t. He will hire a cadre of lawyers who will drag out any cases against him for years, and then he will get the mercy of the court due to his advanced age. Yes, there are about half the people in this country who actually believe the filth he spouts and … act on it. Multiple times, people have attempted to kill politicians, journalists, etc., because they believed what Trump said. This is the real crime, but try telling that to his sycophants who will just say “you just don’t like him”. Well no, as a matter of fact I find him disgusting and vile, but I also know a bit about the laws that he has broken on numerous occasions! Sigh.

I’m never an advocate of violence but I do wonder why no one has aimed a bullet at him. Is it because all the armed crazies are on his side?

I have often wondered the same. Seems that all the armed crazies ARE on his side! Speaks volumes about this country, doesn’t it? Sigh.

Indeed it does. The Constitution seemingly gives them a right to be selfish, stupid and dangerous.

Every bit of sensible gun legislation in our history has been proposed and passed by Democrats. Democrats put in a ban on assault weapons that can kill a hundred or more people in a single minute. Republicans refused to renew it when it expired. Republicans mostly have an A or B rating from the National Rifle Association, while most Democrats have an F rating. Sigh.

Hopefully the next four years will see legislation that brings in permanent bans. I doubt that the Constitution was ever intended to allow everyone to have a gun.

I hope so, my friend. No, the Second Amendment was designed very specifically for militias to protect against foreign invaders, not for every man, woman and child to own a gun and carry it everywhere they go. Plus … when the amendment was drafted circa 1787, ‘arms’ largely referred to a musket … they had no concept of what assault weapons and such would come into being 200 years later!

It has long outlived its usefulness. Hopefully some strong controls will be enacted under Joe’s watch.

I hope. I saw someone comment on Facebook tonight that in light of Wednesday’s events, he was going to “arm” himself. More guns is NOT what we need in this country! Sigh.

Do you think they could find me another £30457 while they are looking for votes. That’s probably about enough to clear the debts. Then could they find my team and extra 83 points, that’s probably 1 more than we need to win the title this year.

How, How, how can people still support him??? I think we seriously are going to see him totally break down in the next weeks leading up to the 20th!!

That’s my question, too … how can some 74 million people in this country think that this slashing of our Constitution is okay? Sigh. 16 days left, and I genuinely dread what other rabbits he plans to pull out of his hat during that time.

What a pansy … and he even sounds like one. Never heard his voice before but … it fits. A widdle boy who wants what he wants because he wants it.

Exactly! His behaviour is what I would expect from a toddler who is angry because he cannot have a cookie. So, how do some 74 million people in this nation think this is okay? Sigh.
