Today I want to share Stephen Colbert’s monologue from March 23rd, the day after the mass shooting in a Boulder, Colorado grocery store that killed 10 people. Please take the 10 minutes to watch this … he is spot on and echoes my own opinions. Oh, and there’s a bit of humour thrown in here and there!
i now have watched him the first time, and I LOVE HIM. Great presentation of whats important in this case. Thank you for sharing, Jill!

Yes, he is great! His political views are spot on, he is a humanitarian, but also a very funny comedian!

For sure a great comedian too, Jill! But i think thats of need in this branch. You have to overcome all the sh.t.

I agree fully. When we can no longer laugh, then … all is lost. Some days, though, I must admit that I find it hard to find humour. I’m trying, though.

He is always spot on, and yet manages to inject just a bit of humour, to make us smile.

………….It’s good there’s somebody out there with a big following who will say these things. From his mouth to Republican ears.

Yep … he’s not really saying anything you or I haven’t said before, but he has a much wider audience and that matters. As you say, from his mouth to the ears of the Republicans.

I subscribe to Stephen Colbert’s channel… I already saw this. He is so, SO on the ball with his political commentary. And the humour he mixes in is priceless.

Ah, I didn’t know he had his own channel one could subscribe to! He, Jimmy Kimmel and John Oliver are about my three favourites.

I watch those same three. They are fantastic.

Hmm… you and Jill both recommend this ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ character; good enough reason for me to check him out (I’ve never heard of him before).

He’s on at the same time as Stephen Colbert. I record both on my DVR because I can’t stay up that late so I watch them both the next day.

I only watch it on YouTube.

Since I don’t have cable or satellite anymore and never watch tv, it’s YouTube for me, too.

Wow … I’m surprised you never heard of Kimmel before, but I think you’ll like him.
