I seem to have a real knack for getting ‘punished’ by the great Tweety god, aka Twitter aka Jack Dorsey and his robocrew. I find it hilarious that Margie Greene, Matt Gaetz, Don Junior, Lindsey Graham and the rest can say pretty much whatever they wish, but when I make what I consider an innocuous reply to a post, I am suspended. Here’s what happened …
The two-faced toadie Lindsey Graham made a really stupid comment whereby he said that …
“If Trump was right about the lab leak, it would change the image the public had of President Trump regarding the Coronavirus …”
I nearly choked on my laughter when I saw that one, and immediately just had to respond with …
No, Stupid, Trump is still single-handedly responsible for the more than 600,000 U.S. deaths, as he kept telling us it was “no big deal” and would be gone, and to just drink bleach. Your ‘hero’ is a madman who deserves the death penalty that he gave to this nation.
Had I not been limited to the 270 character limit, I could have done even better! Now, you’ll note that nowhere did I call for violence or for an insurrection as some have done. However, in less than 20 seconds, I received the following notice …

Where in the Sam Hell did they get the idea that I was suicidal??? They didn’t even have time to read the f*cking message, let alone to ponder its meaning! I took my comment down, but then when I tried to simply ‘like’ a post by Bro, it popped up the same message, saying that my account is suspended for 12 hours! I don’t care, I think it’s funny and I was soon headed to bed anyway, but I DO care in the sense that many people have said much worse than I and not been ‘punished’. This is my third suspension from these jackals … Jack Dorsey is now on my shit list … and as soon as my suspension is lifted, I shall let him know it! Stay tuned!
Y’know, folks … I’ve said to more than one person of late that this nation has let me down, that I am so disappointed in the people of this nation, that it is no longer a country that I recognize. Racism, guns, the Big Lie, and more have darkened my view of the country I’ve spent 70 years in. My dilemma is whether to try to escape to either Canada or the UK, likely saving my life, or to stay and fight, to keep trying to wake the ignorant masses and inject just a spot of remorse into the politicos. And then I remember the words of the late, great Maya Angelou. I would like to share those words with you today, ask you to think about them, decide whether you will rise …
Still I Rise
Maya Angelou – 1928-2014
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
’Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I’ll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries?
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don’t you take it awful hard
’Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines
Diggin’ in my own backyard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I’ve got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history’s shame
I rise
Up from a past that’s rooted in pain
I rise
I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

High Five, Jill! Lol You got punised by them too. 😉 My blockage will end tomorrow, around 7. a.m. (after seven days). You should be happy, because you also got some advices of them. Me nope! 😉 xx Michael

Oooohhhh … you got 7 days???? I only got 12 hours this time, and the most I ever got was 3 days. Whatever did you do to earn 7 days, my friend??? xx

I think they want to discipline me because the account is officially running for a press organ. I will think of a suitable revenge. 😉 xx
P.S.: I have reblogged some news about the published emails of Dr. Fauci! 😉

Ahhhhh … that makes sense! Not fair, but I get it now. Poor Dr. Fauci is being demonized for doing the best he could to save lives! Sigh. xx

Jill, what Lindsey said is the picture he and his fellow Republicans are trying to paint with this and the Fauci attacks. I go back to a comment I made over a year ago, for a president who craves to be seen as a leader, when the ball was put on the tee for him to be the leader we needed on COVID-19, he whiffed. He continued to call it a Democrat hoax as late as February and per an interview with Bob Woodward earlier that month, he knew it was dangerous and he failed to tell his followers that he was putting them in jeopardy. And, even today, Republicans are lagging on the vaccine due to the words of the former president.
What Graham said is a tactic that was obvious as the nose on his face. Being right about one thing erases all of the bad stuff. I would like to know how Graham feels that the former president’s shallow ego almost led to his death by inciting the insurrection? Keith

Exactly, my friend! The former guy had a multitude of opportunities to get it right, to be transparent and help save lives. Instead, he worried what it would do to his ‘reputation’, so he continued to lie even later in the year. He continued to denigrate those who called for precautionary measures such as mask mandates and shuttering of non-essential businesses, and to call into question his own experts such as Dr. Fauci. Ol’ Lindsey seems to have jumped on Ron Johnson’s bandwagon regarding the events of January 6th and now … suddenly it’s not a big deal. Well, I’ve got news for him … sooner or later the truth will come out and we will know which members of Congress played a role in that insurrection. And yes, this will go down in the history books as one of the darker moments in our history. Sigh.

Jill, we were binge watching the excellent mini-series called “The Undoing” on HBO with Hugh Grant, Nicole Kidman and Donald Sutherland. Not to to give too much away, Grant’s character has a narcissistic nature. Reminds me of someone. Keith

That sounds like an interesting mini-series! I checked it out on IMDB, but sadly it isn’t available on Netflix. We only get Netflix and Britbox. I can picture Hugh Grant playing just that sort of a narcissist, too!

No big deal Jill!! I’ve been in Facebook Jail twice and I’m pretty sure I’m on probation forever, all for not mincing words with Trumpublicans. I consider it a badge of honor. Thanks for all you do!

Exactly what I’ve said! I wear it as a badge of honour! This was my third Twitter suspension and I would argue it, except it’s not worth my time to do so! How’ve you been, Greg? Do you guys have the cicadas up there this year? They just emerged here this week and are already making a nuisance of themselves 😉

Hiya Jill!! Sorry such a late reply! I see you’ve since earned another suspension!😏 (Let me give you an E-Medal!!🥇) I always grin when it happens to me. My latest punishment was a lifetime ban from the ‘Antiques And Collectibles’ group on Ebay, even though Ebay never said a word to me about it. My offence was just turning things around on some Trumpublicans who were bashing President Biden. Too bad… it was an interesting group as I have a love of such things. The politics there were horrific. I can never NOT say something to counter!!
Anyway, no cicadas at all here… weird!! Many years ago I remember them at my childhoodhome.. just littered our front yard!!
Been busy keeping post-retirement promises to Jen. Over the years, all her pretty gardens suffered as she and I worked too many hours to keep up with them. Now that I’m retired, I’ve become a weed-aholic (not the kind one smokes, but the kind one pulls out of the ground!) After two loads of mulch for a total of 13 cubic yards, the place is looking nice again but we’ll need at least another 7 yards of mulch delivered. Oh yes… still working at writing but slow still. My last piece makes me cringe. Never liked it but wanted to get it out. (Should’ve waited.😑) I’m rewriting it but also working on the one after it. Maybe someday I’ll be quick like you and Jeff. Takes me forever!!
You take care and keep giving ’em hell… they deserve it Jill!!😄

As Neil says, they have a program to look after that and all it does is pick up certain phrases. ‘drink bleach’ would do it. Though why they don’t think that’s an instruction to someone else I don’t know. You’ll rise again just as Maya Angelou did and be able to get up Jack’s nose again in no time. I would argue the suspension as they got hold of the wrong end of the stick.

Artificial Intelligence certainly has uses, but this is not one of them! Making broad assumptions based on a single word or phrase is … ridiculous! Ah well, Mr. Dorsey will hear from me and I will expect an apology (but I won’t hold my breath waiting for one). The suspension was only for 12 hours, so no big deal really … just the principle of the thing. And yep, I’ll rise again … and again … and again … for I am, after all, the “Queen of Snark” as Ellen has dubbed me!

welcome to the wonderful world of twitmo! I, one of your more adoring supporters, am myself a regular resident in the online jail. Jack and I have actually had several discussions, such as “he needs to get the death penalty” or “his head is so far up his ass he needs a plexiotomy” whereupon Jack says, “Suze, say nice things|. My unfortunate response to Jack on his last sweet missive was for him to shove his face where the sun don’t shine. What cell-block are you in? Maybe I can send an emory board or two!

Ah, yes I thought I saw you here last time I was sentenced! This is my third time and each time I wear it as a badge of honour! I got under somebody’s skin! Jack is a dolt … a greedy dolt who doesn’t have much of a conscience, but he pretends to so as to keep the $$$$$$$$$$ rolling in! I’m out now … my suspension was only for 12 hours this time! Once before it was 3 whole days! And thanks, dear friend!

They probably have a dumb AI program making those decisions.

No doubt that’s true, but wouldn’t you think a human would look it over before they decide that someone is suicidal and deserves to be suspended? Ah well … there’s my mistake … thinking!

Yes, they probably do have a human looking it over. But that must be a very boring job, so it’s not surprising that the person would just rubber-stamp the AI system decision.
