  1. So much for free speech! Politicians can say all kinds of stupid, nasty, brutish bullshit, but an ordinary citizen speaking the truth, nope, they cannot allow that!
Who really owns Twitter, Donald Trump?

    • Yep, politicians and media dudes like that little weasel Tucker Carlson on Fox. Ah well, I don’t care … I needed a break from it anyway. No, Jack Dorsey, a man more concerned with profit than people. Ivanka Trump has lots of money … I have none … so, simple … they will side with her.

  2. You’re better off without Twit Town, and FB too, for that matter. Both, cess pools, disguised as social media.

They can’t ban me! I refuse to participate in either. I”ll get back under my rock now, just as soon as I tell those kids to get off my lawn!

    • This is true … Twitter and Facebook both tend to raise my blood pressure!

No no no … don’t go back under the rock … we need you to stay here and help fight the good fight!

  3. Instagram tried that with me over a few dumb things but I protested and they reposted my post. Nd all the shit everyone else blathers in about, like MTG and Boebert, etc. Gimme a break.

        • I’m with you, my friend. This is no longer a world I can recognize or wish to live in. Sigh. Yes, it started long ago, long before DJT, but came into its own when we had the temerity to elect … gasp … a Black man in 2008 and again in 2012. And then, along came the great white supremacist telling all the nasties that it was perfectly okay for them to be racists, thieves, homophobes, and more. Sigh. SMGH along with you.

            • It’s just like a car, or a washing machine. As long as everything is working right, running along as it should, we don’t pay much attention. But when suddenly the car quits in the middle of nowhere, or the washing machine stops while you’ve got an outfit in there that you need in an hour, then it’s a wake-up call. Much of what we are seeing today is pushback against a two-term Black president … racism at its finest. Sigh. Love ‘n hugs, my friend.

              • In target!! Wow …. Right on! I could’ve never imagined!! And what a let down. American exceptionalism? The best country in the world? The #1 country?
It’s all a mirage. I’m learning it always been a mirage …. Way before, even before this debacle!! 😕

                • If there was ever a time that the U.S. was #1 in such things as democratic principles, human rights, etc., that time is long past. And frankly, with our history of racism and bigotry, I think it was only in the minds of some that this nation was ever “great”. In my mind, it is very much a flawed nation, with some very good principles, and many very horrible ones. Sigh. ❤

  4. Yeah, and did you see the hateful tirade launched by a Trump daughter-in-law, Lara, on FOX network calling for citizens on the border to get guns ready and loaded for the coming assault by “those people”. Jill, you don’t need Twitter….it’s a 3rd rate social media farce. As for me, I am more concerned about my next door, gun-toting, Republican neighbors gunning me down at my Publix store than brothers and sisters from south of the border looking for a better life.

    • No, I hadn’t seen that one by Lara T, but have seen other things by her and she is a real piece of work! I guess what it boils down to usually is that you can say what you like as long as you have lots of money or influence. We peons are subject to arbitrary rules. You’re right that I don’t need it, but it’s a quick and easy way to let certain politicos know how I feel. Yes, your neighbor worries me, too! As do some of mine, though I’m pretty lucky to live in a very diverse neighborhood where most people just want to be left alone.
