Each Saturday, our friend TokyoSand over at Political Charge scours the ‘net for the best, most relevant political cartoons of the week. Political cartoonists have a tremendous talent, an ability to sum up a situation with few or no words, only a drawing. This week is no exception and I really hope you’ll visit Tokyo’s site to view them all, but below is a sampling of this week’s best ‘toons!
Here’s a smattering of great editorial cartoons I saw this past week.

Yeah … and did you notice the bodies on the floor? I wouldn’t want to have to tell him the stories he wants to hear!

Great selection Jill…. I went over to the site…Loved the one by Pedro Molina; I’ve bumped into those mindsets.

Yep … I almost copied that one, but decided against it for the doors it might have opened with certain readers 😉

Yeah, that’s true Jill
Some folk just don’t get the idea that there can be gentle irony and humour in religion.
A few UK atheists I encountered got quite annoyed when I brought humour at some foibles of religion. Go figure?
They only wanted me to recant, of course

Yeah … that’s one reason I generally try to stay away from the topic of ‘religion’ in my posts … I would never wish to offend any, but it’s so easy to do without even realizing you’re doing it!

Oh yeah. You offend someone by being nice and reasonable, I met a guy like that once. He was annoyed at my attitude….Go figure.

Sigh. Yeah, go figure. It seems to me that in these days of divisiveness and toxicity, people are looking for a fight, cruising for one wrong word to seize on and start an argument.

Yep. You remember the old Westerns where one wrong word would start one of those massive bar fights?

Oh yes, I remember them well! I’ve heard people claim that we are reverting to the Old West … I get it now! Where’s John Wayne when you need him?

I’m reckoning on Jimmy Stewart in ‘Destry Rides Again’ (no good clips on YouTube! 😮)

WHAT??? A classic like that and there are no clips on YouTube? Apparently the Republicans have taken over YouTube as well! 🥸

There are trailers from the old days, and earnest fans doing good stills talk overs, but no ‘clips’…
Heresy!! 😮
