Jolly Monday … With BACON!

Good Monday morn, my friends.  The first Monday in June.  My darling daughter reminded me this past weekend that we are almost half the way back to Christmas.  I told her to shut up.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and you’re all revived and refreshed, ready to start another fun week at work!  Well, Jolly and Joyful have been working all weekend on gathering fun ‘toons, memes, and more for your Monday morning dose of humour to start the week out with a grin, a smile, or maybe even a chuckle.  And Joyful has a few treats, so let’s go find out what she’s made this week, and then we’ll head off to find some fun!

    • No worries, Michael! Mondays are always a bit off-schedule for most of us. That would be interesting … I knew your village was small, but didn’t realize everyone there belonged to just three families. I can see both advantages and disadvantages to it. I just hope there’s never a huge family feud in the making! xx

      • I do love bacon. It’s something to do with my upbringing: my parents didn’t have access to the kind of images to which I now have access, showing where bacon comes from and showing how truly monstrous our farming industry is. I’m doing my level best to wean myself off meat products… but decades of habit are very hard to overcome.

        As for BoJo: it never ceases to amaze me how much support he and his cronies appear to have. I really cannot get my head around it.

        • I hear you!!! I never tasted pork until I got married, for I was raised in a half-Jewish household where pork was forbidden fruit. But, once I got married, he insisted we have bacon every Saturday morning, and it was love at first bite! It’s still the only pork I eat, but I do love bacon. I eat very little beef, mainly because of health and cost considerations, so we live on chicken, fish, and veggies.

          Yes, I was surprised to see that he once again dodged the bullet, even though some 40% of his own party voted against him! I couldn’t get my head around it, either. When does he get called to account for his actions? Sigh. He and Trump — two peas in a pod.

  9. OMG, these are the best I’ve seen in a long time…maybe ever. I knew a post titled, “Jolly Monday…With BACON!” was going to be extra good, and it sure was!! The cat gagging at the broccoli is absolutely hysterical. The spider on the toilet is horrifying; I’d have just peed my pants right there!

    • Heh heh … I think the bacon got you and any ‘toon thereafter would have been funny! I do hope you left some for others? I LOVED the cat gagging! The spider on the toilet … I’d be looking for matches to burn the house down!!! Fortunately, I think it was photoshopped and there aren’t really spiders that big! Yeah, yeah, I know you guys grow everything big in Texas, so maybe that was a Texan spider!

  10. Jill, too funny. From con artist to Gilligan’s super batteries to the tortoise race, but the one that may cause stage fright for a man trying to urinate are those shark urinals. Keith
