Yet another week and more of the best political ‘toons from our friend TokyoSand over at Political Charge. Time was that these would make me laugh … and I still take my hat off to the great talents of these cartoonists … but today they make me want to cry more than laugh. Thank you, TS, for all your hard work!
Below is a small sample … be sure to head over to TokyoSand’s place to see … the rest of the story!
Yep. Those are going for the jugular. The cartoonists are ramping up.

I think they probably have to … the angst is ramping up, the corruption and chaos is ramping up. Sigh.

Yeah I can understand that. It’s like some very bad knocked together political thriller. But at least with those, one bitter, hardened police, military or security services veteran is on hand to save the day.

Yep, but I fear there will be no nice ‘happy ending’ here. Sigh.

In practical terms we can but hope for a spate of infighting when the egos clash and schisms on the Right arise and the whole movement collapses into a sorry mess. Then the true Republicans (and a few of the more moderate opportunists) move in to reclaim.
Not perfect of course, but a return to messy compromise Democracy sure looks attractive these days.

Yeah, it does. We never realize how good we have it … until we don’t have it anymore.

These are so great and I love how a political cartoon can convey so much so succinctly and effectively. While we have our own problems and issues in Canada, I don’t envy one bit the crazy stuff going on down in your part of the world (no offense!). 😆

I do too!!! I’ve long said that I wish I had artistic talent, for I would LOVE to be a political cartoonist! I didn’t realize you were in Canada … what part? I have friends in BC, Ontario, and Alberta. No, what is happening to the south of your border is … inhumane. I no longer recognize this country that I’ve spent the last 71 years in. If you have the time, check out my post this morning about a couple — Rob & Reece Scheer — I think you’ll like both the post and its subject!
