What better way to welcome in a new year than with some New Year’s ‘toons? The poor li’l baby 2023 doesn’t know what he’s let himself in for!
And now, it’s time to take the tree down, vacuum up the pine needles, and curl up with a good book and tune out the world for a day! Well, okay, maybe only for a couple of hours, during which time I’ll probably fall asleep!

Mine too, Roger. Were it up to me, the changing of the year would go unmarked, for there is no difference between December 31st and January 1st … both are cold, dark, dreary, and we still have the whole winter stretching ahead. However, it makes others happy, so I figure where’s the harm … soon enough they’ll figure out that nothing changed, too! Now stop mumbling … go have some lovely warm tea and biscuits else I’ll send Joyful over with a pizza with pineapple on it! 🍕
