Yet again begins another week, thus another Monday. The next Monday holiday doesn’t come until May!!! Some people get Good Friday off in early April, but most do not, so the 5-day grind continues on … and on … and on. Wow, I’m just a bucket of cheer this morning, aren’t I? Perhaps I better let Jolly ‘n Joyful take over Jolly Monday this week! I see that Joyful has whipped up some treats, so let’s go see what she has for us, then we’ll try to find some fun stuff to laugh about before tackling this new week head on!
Wow, Joyful!!! You’ve really outdone yourself today!
Let’s get this show on the road with just a few animal memes …
And some funny signs …
Now for da ‘toons I picked out dis week!
And to round out the morning, a cute animal video! This one is guaranteed to bring a smile … it even brought a smile to my grumpy ol’ face!!!
Well, friends, we wish you could stay longer, but I know you all have things to do, places to go, people to see. Keep safe this week and we wish you a happy week! Don’t forget to share those smiles … there are plenty to go around! Love ‘n hugs from Filosofa, Jolly & Joyful!
I need to make baked stuffed potatoes! Love the toons, Jill.

I am so glad you enjoyed the food ‘n funnies!!! Yes, that one cracked me up, and I wondered if the person who wrote that ‘correction’ had any basic math skills! Have a happy week ahead, my friend!!!

Awwww … thanks, Erika! But alas, I cannot take credit, for my source is Phil over at Phil’s Phun http://philcoiinetnetau.blogspot.com I get most of my material there! I’m so glad you are enjoying the Jolly Monday posts. One day soon, I plan to repost some of my first Jolly Monday posts and you’ll see how much it has evolved! Have a great week, my dear friend!

Poor Earl. It’s not easy being a guy and having to remember all those dates…and then you get older…

Heh heh … I remember one year when Donnie (my late ex-husband) forgot my birthday, the kids reminded him, so he dashed to the nearest Wal-Mart, bought something, came home and handed me the Wal-Mart bag and said, “Here’s your birthday present.” So romantic, yes? 🤣

I’ve heard worse. Like a mother remembering, dashing out to a shop bringing back a birthday card and writing it out in front of her daughter, then handing it to her – job done. Or the guy who present his wife with a lining for a garden pond.
But, yeah – bad move there guy.
I guess we’re lucky, our birthdays are 19th & 20th July; hard to miss that conjunction.

Oh yeah, I’ve heard much worse! In retrospect, it was funny, though I don’t remember laughing at the time! Indeed you are lucky! Not much chance you’ll forget hers, or vice versa. Same year, too?

Nope Sheila was 1950, and I was 1951. Bearing in mind all of our children’s choices she jokes that Jacob women prefer the younger man, Ash’s wife Julie is 10 years older😀

Nuthin’ wrong with that! What is age, anyway, but a number? Now, I cannot see me with a many of, say 20 years old, because he’d still need his ears cleaned for him! But a 10 year age difference is nothing. Donnie was 9 years older than me … though he sometimes acted, as one of my friends often said, like he was 80 even back then. You were born a month-and-a-half after I was!

Funny you should mention that about 80…..Soemtimes Sheila reckons when my dad asked if ‘It was a boy or a girl’ the sister replied ‘It’s a grumpy old man Mr Jacob’ 😄.
Born in the early 50s, heading for teen years where at least the music was bright and sunny:
