Pete Buttigieg’s Trump SMACKDOWN surges into spotlight

I couldn’t resist sharing this video on Scottie’s blog! Pete Buttigieg’s unassuming with, and the words of Brian Tyler Cohen are simply brilliant! Thank you, Scottie, for sharing this with us!

  1. How is his management of this train derailment going? Or all the other toxic spills across the nation, which he is Secretary of Transportation is supposed to be responsible for….? Frankly I don’t think he’s in a position to smack anybody down, least of all Trump, I don’t remember any spills happening on the 45th president’s watch. ✌😜

    • Surely you are not blaming the train derailments on Secretary Buttigieg? First, during his single term, Trump rolled back regulations that have led to some of the recent derailments. Second, the rail companies have taken shortcuts that also contributed. Lay the blame where it belongs.

There were numerous disasters of many sorts under the former president [sic], not to mention the highest death toll from Covid of any other nation on the globe. You really don’t want to go there.

  2. Jill, thanks for sharing. Buttigieg is worth listening to even when you may not agree with him. Fans of the former president who have long ago run out of sandpaper to smooth his rough edges, should have realized that once smooth, the underlying nature of the person was not the answer to WWJD. Behavior that focuses on narcissism, untruthfulness, bullying, denigration, sexual misconduct, sedition et al is not aspirational. Keith

    • You’re right … trying to smooth over his rough edges is like putting a coat of paint over a rusty car … the rust will eat through the paint in no time. I do like ‘Mayor Pete’ as I’ll always think of him! And I thought his comment on this clip was just beyond perfect!

  4. Excellent share, Jill AND Scottie. Yup, “Let’s debate family values!”
Trump didn’t just cheat once, or pay off only one woman to keep her mouth shut. In fact, we have no idea how nany wives he cheated on with how many women.
OR MEN! He goes not come across as being completely heterosexual, especially with the male leaders of other nations such as Russia, China, North Korea, Brazil, Hungary, Turkey, etc etc etc. He is a power groupie, as long as the leader is male.
Female leaders, on the other hand, he insults every chance he gets. A total Male Chauvanist Pig!!!

    • Trump’s sex life, or lack thereof (if you have to pay for it, let’s face it, you’ve got problems!) is of zero interest to me, but it DOES prove what most of us already knew, that he HAS NO values! Money and power are the only things he values, not family, friends, humanity, the planet, or anything that most of us value.

  5. I LOVE … LOVE … LOVE Bryan Tyler Cohen!! He gets right to the point and essentially there’s nothing he says that can’t be proved. But of course, the ones that NEED to hear/watch him … well, they’re too busy soaking up the diatribes on Faux News.
