Good Monday morn, my friends! It’s hard to believe it’s already May! Where did the first four months of the year go? It was just Christmas a couple of weeks ago, wasn’t it? I hope your weekend was everything you hoped it would be and more! That said, isn’t it great to get back to work, back into the routine and not have to be bothered trying to figure out what to do next? Yes, I’ve lost my bloody mind! Anyway, a simple fare on the table today, but never fear … there’s plenty of bacon for those bacon-lovers among you! Let’s go grab a bite and then find a way to make this Monday morning special!

I don’t like much spice so I always ask for mine to be mild. My husband though thinks the spicier the better. He is crazy! LOL!

A great selection, loved the sock jokes. My daughter hit upon the idea of odd socks; I’ve never seen my grandsons wearing a pair of socks! It must be catching on because in our delightful emporium of interesting and crafty things you can actually buy pairs of non identical very colourful and very expensive socks.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the sock jokes! Who knew you could actually buy unmatched socks? My daughter just finished knitting herself a pair of unmatched socks! I only wear socks if a) my feet are cold, or b) I have to wear shoes, which I mostly try to avoid doing these days! 😉

I used to knit, but mostly afghans … nice flat, straight things! After I retired from a full-time career as an accountant, I traded knitting and crocheting for writing, which I find rewarding, but sometimes it would be fun to sit down with needles and yarn again!

As is mine. I post my 3 (usually) daily blog posts there, respond to any comments, and that’s about it. Every now and then I get sucked into a back-and-forth, but not often.

I’ve given up Jill. I use it just to keep extra link open with my family and some folk I know, with the occasional entries in ‘What’s On Your Mind’, which since having a near horizontal profile means I get next to zero feedback.

I get little or no feedback, either … an occasional ‘like’ or ‘thumb up’ … but still, it gives me a way of keeping up with nieces and nephews, as well as my own son who cannot even remember how to spell his own name!

People over here don’t mind that it is Monday since it is a holiday. For me it is a regular work day since I am off from my employed job anyway to work for my own business… so all is normal here… lol
