Jolly ‘n Joyful Monday Morn!

Good Monday morning once again, dear friends!  Y’know … time seems to be going by too fast … I no more than get finished with Wednesday, and before I know it it’s Monday again!  Seems we just finished with last Christmas and here my girls are already asking what I want for Christmas this year!  Would somebody please slow this carousel down … it’s making me dizzy!  Anyway, Joyful and I decided on breakfast foods for our treats today, so head on over to the buffet table (plenty of bacon, guys!) and then we’ll find some humour with which to start our week!

Okay, let’s start with a bit of critter humour, shall we?

And for a change of pace, here are a few fun facts you may not have known …

Just a bit of punny humour …

And now, on to the ‘toons!!!

And we’ll close with, as always, a fun animal video …

I see some gorgeous smiles on your faces, so I hope that means you found something to smile about here this morning!  I hope the smiles last you all week, and that you have a few to share with others who may not have one of their own.  Keep safe and have a great week ahead, my friends!  Love ‘n hugs from Filosofa, Jolly ‘n Joyful!!!

  2. Never mind Earl Muffin wouldn’t have given you a minute’s peace if you’d have had the salmon.

Switzerland recognises three official languages German, French and Italian (and there’s Romansh). If I ever travelled there I would have to learn the equivalent in each for “Get the (bad word) out of my face clown unless you want to change your name to Limpy The Clown” (Jeez Louise!)

    • You’re so right about that … last time we had carryout, I got salmon with a whiskey sauce glaze and the kitties would NOT leave me alone while I was eating!!! They know!

Heh heh … I wasn’t thinking so much about that clown coming after me, as I was thinking about siccing him on someone else, like … oh, I dunno, maybe some former president?

      • Cats and dogs are shameless scroungers 😀. Dogs can put on the ‘Oh looking at poor starving me,’ expression at the first sniff of food.

Amongst my many social dislikes the evil clown shtick is way up there amongst the top.
If you sent one after ‘him’, the clown would get hired onto the staff.

        • Indeed, dogs are much more expressive in that way than cats. Cats are just disdainful, will look at you as if to say, “Who gave you the right to even be here? Your place is to serve MOI!”

Ooohhhh … I hadn’t thought of that, but you’re probably right!

    • I never realized there were so many kangaroo jokes … what I published here is but a small number of the ones I found! You’re right, though … they are rather an anomaly. I loved the parrot … I could live with her as long as she didn’t chatter all through the night when I was trying to sleep!

  3. That cartoon about who made everything & the girl says “China” makes me think of when we were kids back in the 60s. Everything was made in Japan in those days. Remember? “Made in Japan” stamped on the bottom of every cheap toy & anything you might find in a tourist trap. I suppose in another twenty years, things might be made in some country in Africa, since that’s where manufacturing is going.

    • Oh yeah … I can vaguely remember those days when everything was “Made in Japan”! Who knows where our products will come from in 20 years? I likely won’t be around to buy anything anyway by then!

    • I’m glad you enjoyed them! I never knew there were anteater jokes either, until I found these! I guess nothing is above humour, eh? I liked the parrot … thought what great fun we could have teaching him … um … certain phrases … 🤣
