Political Cartoons: News Through Artistic Humour

As I pondered over what to write about this afternoon, I noticed my political cartoon file is once again bulging, so I decided to empty it before musing on such things as why the House of Representatives is wasting time on impeachment hearings when they have only 11 days to pass 12 appropriations bills to keep the lights on past September 30th!  So, once again, for your viewing pleasure here are what I consider some of the best efforts of the political cartoonists, with a few memes thrown in for fun!  Meanwhile, I’ve got a letter to write to my wayward representative, Warren Davidson!

  1. Jill, I love Wanda Sykes. Now, I love her even more. Too funny. Of course, with the focus on what John Fetterman wears and Barack Obama’s missing flag pin, Republicans have shown as long as you wear a suit and a flag pin, it is OK to act seditiously or look the other way when someone does. • So do I, Keith! She is involved in so much good work … what’s not to love? Oh yes, but not just ANY suit … remember when Obama wore a tan suit once? GASP … you’d have thought he walked in naked! Or here’s another for you … remember how much of a stink they made when Michelle Obama wore a sleeveless dress one time? Now look at Marge Greene … she ALWAYS wears sleeveless dresses and nary a word is said. Double standard?

  2. Once again, I had to hit the FOLOW button.. i’m really getting sick of this. In my mind, it is happening too often to be random. I don’t know how it is possible to Unfolliw someone from a blog, but some hacker must know how. Any ideas?

    • Again??? Sheesh! I wonder how many readers I’ve lost because WordPress ‘unfollowed’ me on their behalf and they nor I noticed? Nope, I’m fresh out of ideas when it comes to trying to figure out what WordPress and its techies are doing! I really don’t think it’s a hacker, though, but rather either a glitch in the system, or somebody inadvertently hitting the wrong button in the control room.
