Indeed they were! 77 years together! I cannot even imagine it!

Sadly now, I don’t think President Carter has much time as now in hospice, I’m sure he wants to be with the love of his life. God bless them both. ❤

No, I don’t think so either. In fact, I expected to hear of his death within a month after he entered hospice and am surprised he’s still hanging in. But I’m sure Rosalynn’s death must have left him bereft and like you, I imagine he’s ready to call it quits now.

It is, and she did more for humanity in her lifetime than most do. She will long be remembered, as will Jimmy who is 99 and in very poor health also.

I am sorry to hear that. He has always been one of the decent persons in politics. I am not sure that he was appreciated enough in America.

He was appreciated far more, I think, after he left the White House. His diplomacy was often called upon by later presidents, and his philanthropy will live on long past his lifetime.

Yes, she was. I can only imagine the pain Jimmy Carter is feeling tonight. 😥
