Our friend Annie reminds us that we should not overlook the achievements of Vice President Kamala Harris.  Like President Biden, she does not waste her time preening in front of the cameras or seeking attention, but rather knuckles down and gets the job done.  I have long admired her, but never more so than since she took her oath of office to be 2nd in command of our nation.  Thank you, Annie, for reminding us not to overlook VP Harris!!!

    • My cousin the librarian once observed that the only person to know more than a 21 yr old junior in college was an 18 yr old high school senior. I would recommend the hitchhiker’s guide to your book list. The Universe is far bigger than you seem to grasp. She is the first woman to have gained the vice presidency of the United States. I have 27 years until my passing, impress me with YOUR achievements.

        • Mother, wife, college graduate, law degree. Goes to work everyday and locked up sexual predators for a living. Votes and advocates for her beliefs. She obeys the law and pays her taxes like the current president and unlike the former president who does neither.
          May I ask what you think she “owes” America? What do you think she “owes” you?

            • Same as any American. Same as your mom and dad, same as me. Same as you. Hopefully she’s living her best life. Again she does not owe anyone anything. Just because you feel entitled does not make you entitled. Ms Jill commonly features good people doing good things for others once a week. She will then feature a sample of those who are more inwardly focused. For or too, choose wisely.
              I like books also. My collection is over ten thousand volumes. It contains the complete works of Ray Bradbury. One thing Ms Harris has done for you as a student is not advocating for censoring your breadth of knowledge. The majority of people look in order to find. Finding ruins the game. If you believe you have found El Dorado at 13 you will never find the true motherlode. 👍

  5. Jill, it has been clear from the outset that Biden and Harris would be tarred and feathered to diminish them in an effort to make Trump look better. Neither are perfect, but are achieving results better than given credit for. On the flip side, Trump has been rated the 4th worst president in US history for various reasons. Keith

    • True. It seems, though, that Trump is looking worse and worse with each passing day, and YET … his popularity continues to swell. I don’t get it … I just don’t get it. Are people in this country truly tired of things working fairly well? Or are they truly ignorant? I think by the time all is said and done, Trump will be ranked THE worst president in our history, but … not likely until after he is dead and gone.
