Earlier this week, dear friend Keith emailed me about the sad death of Garth Hudson, founding member of The Band.  I was definitely interested in doing a tribute to Mr. Hudson, but time slipped away from me as I was trying to keep up with the events of the day(s), and then today, I noticed that our friend Clive had beat me to the punch.  Not only that, but he is far more familiar with the music of The Band, and therefore did a much better tribute post than I likely could have.  So, today I am sharing Clive’s post and I know you will find something to love in it!  Thank you, Clive, for this genuinely beautiful tribute post to Mr. Hudson!
