From May 2 to September 27 last year, the Writers Guild of America —representing 11,500 screenwriters—went on strike over a labor dispute with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.  I don’t watch television or go to movies, so I really might not have even noticed, except for one thing … the late night comedians!  No Stephen Colbert or Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers or John Oliver!  The world was just a little bit darker without them to show us the humour in the everyday chaos found in our newsfeed.  But they’re back now, and in fine form.  I came across this one of Jimmy Kimmel from a couple of days ago and found myself chuckling all the way through it, so rather than bore you with any my usual political commentary, I’m sharing Jimmy and the humour for which he is famous. I especially loved Jamie Raskin at the 7:00 mark … he has a way with words! And perhaps the best part is there is almost nothing about Tr@#p in the clip!  I really hope you’ll take just a few minutes to watch it, for it is funny!!!  I promise you’ll laugh!
