We Wish You A Jolly ‘N Joyful Monday!

Wh-Wha-What???  It’s Monday again … already???  What happened to the weekend?  Ah well … the bright side is that if it’s Monday, then you guys are here to share in the smiles, laughter, and bacon that always accompany Jolly Monday!  See … it’s true that every cloud has a silver lining … even Monday!  I smell something good, so let’s go see what Joyful has cooked up for us, shall we?

An’ because Ab said we gonna need more bacon dis week, I made extra!

Good Monday morning, dear friends!  Looks like it’s gonna be another weird weather week for us here in the U.S. with more heavy snow forecast in the west and more severe storms here on the eastern half of the nation.  yippee.  Since Easter is next Sunday, I think Joyful has cooked up some Easter delicacies for your snacking pleasure this morning!  So, grab a snack and let’s find some fun stuff to bring us a smile in spite of the weather!

Another Monday, Another Blank Slate!

Good morning, friends!!!  Another Monday, another week, another blank slate for us to write on!  Will we write of beauty or darkness, will we make people smile or growl?  Let’s try to start our own week out with a smile, then maybe we’ll have a spare to share with somebody else!  Joyful has pulled together some snacks for us to munch on and Jolly has been over at Phil’s Phun gathering fun things like ‘toons, memes, and funny pictures, so let’s head over to the buffet table and then go see what Jolly has for us!

Monday again, eh?

Well, at least there’s a bright spot in that we get to spend time with you, our friends, and share a few laughs to start out yet another week.  How was your weekend?  Do anything special and fun?  Me?  Not really … I did have a rare outing to our local Barnes & Noble and Fresh Market on Saturday, but after 3 hours out, I was exhausted … which is why outings for me are rare these days.  Still, it was nice and I got a new book that I’ve nearly finished already!  Well, Joyful wouldn’t let me in the kitchen, said she was cooking up a surprise, so let’s go see what special treats she has for us and then we’ll find some chuckles …

Good Monday morning, my friends!  I bet you guys just can’t wait to dive into another week at the salt mines … or wherever you work!  My poor daughter is the head of her department at work and 7 of her staff have called off this weekend – all tested positive for Covid!  I told her I’d fire every one of them, for no doubt they’ve been going around without masks, not taking any precautions.  She said it’s probably a good thing I’m no longer a manager … she’s probably right, for the older I get, the less tolerance I have for stupidity.  But anyway, since it’s Monday, let’s start the week with something to make us smile, or maybe even chuckle, shall we?  Let’s start by checking out what Joyful has been up to in the kitchen … something sure smells good!

The Jolly Monday That Almost Wasn’t

Good Monday morning friends!  Y’know … sometimes Jolly is really hard to find.  I was just about to give up on even posting a Jolly Monday, but I finally found Jolly and Joyful hiding in the clothes hamper upstairs!  I dragged them back downstairs and reminded them just how important it is, especially in these very trying times, to help our friends start their week with a smile, or perhaps even a chuckle.  And so, we all rallied to the cause and hope we can help start the week on a happy note for you all.  Now, Joyful is still a bit on the sad side, so I told her to keep the buffet simple this morning, but she insisted she was in the mood for comfort food.  Grab a plate … er, a bowl … and let’s find some things to smile about, shall we?

I made dis one on account of it’s Pride Month!!!

Jolly was over at Phil’s Phun looking for some ‘toons when he called me and said, “Gwammie … come quick … you jus’ gotta see dis”.  So, I hopped on my broomstick and rode over to Phil’s where Jolly showed me some funny music-themed puns that Phil had.  Well, naturally I had to bring a few home to share with you guys …

Hi … it’s me, Jolly!  Yeah … me ‘n Joyful wuz hiding ’cause we didn’t feel vewy Jolly or Joyful, but Gwammie reminded us that we have a duty to you guys … and we luv you lots, so we’re doin’ our best to make you smile.  Anyway, Gwammie gave me “cartoon duty” and dis is what I came up with … I hope dey make you smile …

Good Monday morning, my friends!  It seems that Jolly and Joyful are MIA (that stands for Missing In Action) this morning, so it falls on me to try to dig humour out of thin air … just wait ‘til I get my hands on those two for abandoning me!  So, if the food and the humour are not quite up to par this morning, it is all my fault, but I’ll give it my best and see what I can scrounge up in the kitchen!
