Well, another weekend has come and gone and if you blinked, you probably missed it.  Why are Saturdays and Sundays so much shorter than the other days of the week?  At any rate … we hope your weekend was a good one and that you managed to have a bit of fun.  And now, it’s time to head back to the salt mines, but first … Jolly ‘n Joyful and I have been hard at work trying to find things to help you start the week off with some fun!  Let’s go see what Joyful has cooked up for us, then we’ll go looking for our Monday smiles!  Hmmmm … smells like breakfast in here!

Monday morn, dear friends, and WELCOME!  It’s always so good to see you on Monday morning … it somehow helps start the week out right, y’know?  I’m in just a bit of a funk this morning, so hopefully spending time with you guys and finding a bit of humour here and there will help.  But first, let’s go see what Joyful has cooked up for us today … I know I smell bacon!!!

Jolly ‘N Joyful Monday With Pizza!

Good Monday morn, dear friends, and welcome to Château Jolly ‘n Joyful!  How was your weekend … do anything fun?  Me?  Nope, haven’t been out of the house except to retrieve a parcel of printer ink from the front stoop yesterday afternoon.  But that’s okay … I did some reading, some kipping, some laundry, some more kipping and overall had a quiet weekend.  Jolly and Joyful made an executive decision to make today Pizza Day, so let’s head over to the buffet table and see what a selection of pizzas they have for us, then we’ll go in search of some grins, smiles, chuckles and laughs to start the week off on the right foot!

Wh-Wha-WHAT???  It’s Monday again???  Already?  Wh-where did the weekend go?  Sheesh … the days keep getting shorter and shorter!  Well, welcome to Monday … since it’s here, we’ll just have to make the best of it, won’t we?  On that note, let’s go see what Joyful has cooked up this morning, and then we’ll go in search of some fun things to start the week on the right foot!

Jolly Monday With Bacon!

Well, the holidays are behind us and we can get back to the routine now!  The dreary winter routine, that is, for spring is quite a ways off yet.  However, here at Jolly’s house, it doesn’t matter what the weather outside is, for it’s always warm and welcoming with good food an plenty of humour inside!  So, grab a cuppa nice hot coffee (or tea) and a snack from the buffet over there and we’ll share some of that humour with you!

Since we dinna have any bacon for a couple of weeks, I made LOTS ‘N LOTS of it this week!

Jolly ‘n Joyful Monday … With Bacon!!! 🥓

Good Monday morn, my friends, and welcome once again to Jolly Monday!  I hope you all had a good weekend!  Our friend and neighbor, Maha, had her baby yesterday afternoon … a girl named Naya … and we are so happy that both mother and baby are doing well, as there were complications throughout the pregnancy.  Chris and I went up to see them at the hospital yesterday evening and … the baby is so tiny!  I’d forgotten how little those things are in the beginning!  Chris held her, but I declined, for I was a bit shaky and I didn’t want to take any chances of dropping the baby!  Well, here it is Monday again, so let’s try to find a bit of humour to start the week off right.  Joyful tells me that a few of you complained to her about no bacon on the table the last two weeks, so this morning’s breakfast theme is … CUCUMBERS!  Ha ha … gotcha … just kidding, it’s bacon, of course!  I did insist that she add some fruit to the lineup so nobody could say it wasn’t a healthy breakfast!  So, grab a plate and then let’s see what we can find to laugh about.
