Wh-Wha-WHAT???  It’s Monday again???  Already?  Wh-where did the weekend go?  Sheesh … the days keep getting shorter and shorter!  Well, welcome to Monday … since it’s here, we’ll just have to make the best of it, won’t we?  On that note, let’s go see what Joyful has cooked up this morning, and then we’ll go in search of some fun things to start the week on the right foot!

I hope you guys are in the mood for some … PIZZA this morning, ’cause that’s what I’ve been workin’ on all morning long!  Gwammie likes hers with pineapple … do you?

Jolly Monday With Bacon!

Well, the holidays are behind us and we can get back to the routine now!  The dreary winter routine, that is, for spring is quite a ways off yet.  However, here at Jolly’s house, it doesn’t matter what the weather outside is, for it’s always warm and welcoming with good food an plenty of humour inside!  So, grab a cuppa nice hot coffee (or tea) and a snack from the buffet over there and we’ll share some of that humour with you!

Since we dinna have any bacon for a couple of weeks, I made LOTS ‘N LOTS of it this week!

Good Monday morning, dear friends!  Come in out of the cold … amazing how it went from 70° to below freezing in just a few short days, isn’t it?  I was shocked to wake up to snow covering the ground on Saturday morning!  Already I’m tired of winter … methinks it’s gonna be a long one.  Anyway, I hope your weekend was a good one and we’ve got some fun lined up to start your week with a smile this morning before you head back out to the salt mines.  So … let’s go see what Joyful has cooked up for us … something hot, I hope!

Jolly ‘n Joyful Monday … With Bacon!!! 🥓

Good Monday morn, my friends, and welcome once again to Jolly Monday!  I hope you all had a good weekend!  Our friend and neighbor, Maha, had her baby yesterday afternoon … a girl named Naya … and we are so happy that both mother and baby are doing well, as there were complications throughout the pregnancy.  Chris and I went up to see them at the hospital yesterday evening and … the baby is so tiny!  I’d forgotten how little those things are in the beginning!  Chris held her, but I declined, for I was a bit shaky and I didn’t want to take any chances of dropping the baby!  Well, here it is Monday again, so let’s try to find a bit of humour to start the week off right.  Joyful tells me that a few of you complained to her about no bacon on the table the last two weeks, so this morning’s breakfast theme is … CUCUMBERS!  Ha ha … gotcha … just kidding, it’s bacon, of course!  I did insist that she add some fruit to the lineup so nobody could say it wasn’t a healthy breakfast!  So, grab a plate and then let’s see what we can find to laugh about.
