Good Monday morn, my friends, and welcome to Jolly Monday!  Joyful has been in the kitchen for hours preparing some treats for you this morning, and Jolly just got back with a fresh batch of ‘toons to bring about a few laughs.  So, grab a snack and let’s see just how many grins ‘n giggles we can see this morning!

Good Monday morn, friends!  Less than two weeks now until Christmas … I’ve done all my shopping online this year, as I’ve not been well enough to go out shopping, and the girls are doing all my wrapping, as well as the holiday baking.  I’m determined to roast a turkey with all the trimmings for us to share with our dear friends the al-Dabbaghs on Christmas, but more and more I think that may be an unreasonable goal to set for myself.  Well, I’ve got two weeks to whip myself into shape, so we’ll see.  But for today, Jolly ‘n Joyful and I have some fun things to help you start this week with a smile, or perhaps even a chuckle or a giggle!  So, grab a snack and a cuppa something warm to drink and let’s find some fun, shall we?

Jolly Monday — 138 Days ‘Til Christmas!

Good Monday morning, my friends … {yawn}.  Yes, you read that right … just 138 days, just over 1/3 of the year left until Christmas.  And I have yet to buy the first Christmas gift, don’t even have a tree yet!  HORRORS!!!!  Seriously, though, the stores are already filled with Hallowe’en stuff, more than two months before Hallowe’en, which may well be largely ignored this year in light of the pandemic.  Ah well, time marches on and doesn’t let such silly things as a pandemic stop it, yes?  Did you all have a wonderful weekend?  Mine was … meh.  Daughter Chris picked up dinner on Saturday from our favourite Chinese place, so that was nice, but otherwise I have been battling the doldrums and a headache that seems resistant to ibuprofen, so nothing too exciting here.  But, today is Monday, the start of a new week, and we should really start it with a smile, maybe even a chuckle or two, don’t you think?  Joyful has made some yummy-looking treats, so let’s hop over to the table and grab a bite, then on to some cartoons, memes, funny signs, and more!
