Jolly HOT Monday!

Good Monday morning, dear friends!  Gonna be a hot one this week … mid-to-upper 90s all week with heat indexes into the 100+ mark.  You-know-who will be staying inside this week!  Did you all have a good weekend?  Ours was quiet … well, mine and Goose’s was … Chris had a band event on Saturday for most of the afternoon/evening, and practice yesterday for several hours.  But now it’s Monday … back to the routine, nose back to the grindstone and all that stuff.  We hope we can help you start the week with some humour to put a smile on your faces!  Since we offered an Asian buffet last Monday with no bacon, this week’s menu is centered around bacon from start to finish for all our bacon lovers!  So, help yourself to a snack and let’s see if we can find something to laugh about!

OH NO!!!!  Don’t tell me it’s Monday again already!!!  NO … NO NO NO!!!  I won’t stand for it!  There are entirely too many Mondays in the year … Jolly … take that calendar down and burn it!

But Gwammie … Monday is when we get to see our fwiends, ‘member?  Don’t ya wanna see our fwiends? 

Sigh.  Of course I do, Jolly.  Thanks for reminding me … I think I just need my coffee to get me in a better mood this morning. ☕ Oh!  Speaking of our friends, here they are now!  Hi guys!  C’mon in … we were just about to get a cuppa coffee and a snack, so come in and let’s all see what Joyful has concocted for us today!  Mmmmmm … must be PIZZA DAY!!!

Jolly Monday … Again Already!

Ahhhhh … so it’s Monday yet again, is it?  Didn’t we just have a Monday a few days ago?  They fly back ’round too darned fast!  But, if it’s Monday, then at least I get to spend some time this morning with my dear friends, so that makes it all worthwhile!  C’mon in where it’s cool and I hope you’ll enjoy what Joyful and I have been cooking up this morning to fill your bellies and start the week off right!  David … please stay away from the lobster and the shrimp, but feel free to feast on the lamb chops, steak, potatoes, and of course the BFG!!!

Good Monday morning, dear friends!  Yes, Monday has rolled around once again … time to drag out the suits ‘n ties, the briefcases … unless, of course, you’re retired like me and can happily stay in your jammies all day long!  Then Monday doesn’t seem so bad!  So, did you all have a fun weekend?  I stayed in … the air quality is very poor and I have enough trouble catching my breath inside the air-conditioned house, so I think it would be a very bad idea to go out in the heat & humidity and don a mask on top of it all.  I hope the weather is not so oppressive where you are!  Well, Joyful has been in the kitchen for a couple of hours now … she said she promised you guys double bacon today to make up for last Monday … so let’s go see what she’s cooked up, then go see if we can find something to tickle our funny bones and start the week with a chuckle, ‘k?

Good Monday morn, my friends.  The first Monday in June.  My darling daughter reminded me this past weekend that we are almost half the way back to Christmas.  I told her to shut up.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and you’re all revived and refreshed, ready to start another fun week at work!  Well, Jolly and Joyful have been working all weekend on gathering fun ‘toons, memes, and more for your Monday morning dose of humour to start the week out with a grin, a smile, or maybe even a chuckle.  And Joyful has a few treats, so let’s go find out what she’s made this week, and then we’ll head off to find some fun!

Wh-wha-what???  It’s Monday again already???  H-how did that happen?  Where did the weekend go?  It was here just a minute ago … I know it was!  Sigh.  Okay, well … good Monday morning friends.  Forgive my disheveled state … I really thought it was Saturday morning and … and … I was going back to sleep when Jolly came in, jumped on the bed 5 or 6 times, and told me you guys were here!  Hopefully Joyful is better prepared than I am this morning and has put out some yummy things for us to snack on … let’s go see!
