So much happening these days … the looming (almost-certain) government shutdown, a former president [sic] up on at least 91 charges of breaking the trust of the people, major storms and wildfires ’round the globe, corrupt politicians refusing to honour their oaths, and more. I don’t know about you, but it exhausts me some days. The upside, though, is that it gives the cartoonists so much material to work with that they are working day & night to find ways to present the news in an artistic manner, with a bit of humour thrown in. My files are once again overflowing, and I’m only sharing about half of what I have today — saving the rest for another day (probably tomorrow!) I must say, though, that I will be glad when someday, hopefully in my lifetime, we can have an entire week without mention of Donald Trump. We’d all be much healthier!

So, once again, for your viewing pleasure here are what I consider some of the best efforts of the political cartoonists, with a few memes thrown in for fun! Meanwhile, I’ve got a letter to write to my wayward representative, Warren Davidson!
